Homeschool gymnastics class at Arizona Gymkids in Mesa
    ESA accepted · Daytime classes

    Homeschool PE & Gymnastics

Friday morning gymnastics classes for homeschool families in Mesa. Real physical education, real coaching, and you can pay for it straight from your child's Empowerment Scholarship Account.

    Pay with your ESA

Arizona's ESA handbook lists gymnastics, dance and physical education as allowable teaching services. We are a registered ClassWallet vendor, and we have been invoicing ESA families for a while now, so the paperwork is quick.

    Three ways to pay

Pay us directly from ClassWallet (search Arizona Gymkids under Pay Vendor), use your ESA debit card at the front desk, or pay by card and submit our receipt for reimbursement. Direct pay is the easiest, and it is what most of our ESA families use.

    Invoices built for approval

One invoice per child, with the student's name, the dates, and the class written up as physical education and gymnastics instruction. Nothing on it that ESA does not cover, so there is nothing for a reviewer to question.

    Attestation on file

Every coach teaching ESA students holds a high school diploma or higher, or a certification in the subject. Our signed Business Accreditation Attestation is on file and yours for the asking.

Tuition for one class a week is $89 a month, and the annual registration fee ($50 per student or $70 per family) goes on the same invoice. Two or more classes a week cost less per class; the full table is on the tuition page. Every purchase is reviewed by the Arizona Department of Education, and we are happy to talk through anything about the process. Call (480) 777-1033.

    Friday Classes

Sixty minutes on the bars, beam, floor, trampoline and vault, with kids their own age and coaches who have been doing this in Mesa since 2003. Two age groups, five class times, and room in all of them.

    Homeschool Gymnastics

    Ages 4 to 6Fridays at 10 and 11 AM

Basic gymnastics skills, strength, flexibility and coordination on all the apparatus. A fun way to cover physical education during the school day.

    Homeschool Gymnastics

    Ages 7 & UpFridays at 10, 11 and 12

For older students, with more advanced technique on every apparatus plus the conditioning and agility work that builds real athletic ability.

Homeschool families are also welcome in any of our evening gymnastics, cheer and dance classes, and those can be paid with ESA the same way. The Friday classes are just the ones built around a school-day schedule, with the gym to yourselves.

    ESA questions, answered

Can I pay for gymnastics with my child's ESA?

Yes. The Arizona ESA Parent Handbook lists gymnastics, dance and physical education as allowable tutoring and teaching services. Arizona Gymkids is a registered ClassWallet vendor, so you can pay us directly from your ESA account. Each purchase is still reviewed by the Department of Education, and we write our invoices so that review is easy.

How do I actually pay through ClassWallet?

Search for Arizona Gymkids in ClassWallet under Pay Vendor, upload the invoice we send you, and submit. We invoice one child per invoice, with the student's name, the service dates and the class described as physical education and gymnastics instruction. If you would rather use your ESA debit card, we take that too, and you keep the receipt we give you.

What if only one of my kids is on ESA?

That is common and it works fine. We bill the ESA child on their own invoice and the rest of the family on your usual card, so nothing on the ESA invoice belongs to a sibling.

Can ESA pay for camps and evening classes too?

The handbook lists enrollment in sports camps as an allowable expense, with food and travel excluded, so camp invoices from us leave lunch off. Our evening gymnastics, cheer and dance classes are the same kind of instruction as the daytime ones and can be paid the same way. Birthday parties and Parent's Night Out are not covered, so we never put those on an ESA invoice.

Do you provide the instructor attestation?

Yes. Every coach teaching ESA students has a high school diploma or higher, or a certification in the subject, and we keep a signed Business Accreditation Attestation on file. Ask the front desk for a copy any time.

Is the free trial still free for ESA families?

Of course. Book a Friday trial, come and see the gym, and if your child loves it we will set up the ESA invoice that day.

    Try a Friday class free

Your child's first class is on us. Pick a Friday, come and see the gym, and we will have the ESA invoice ready if you decide to stay.
